1. Acceptance of Terms
By browsing nebulastartupschool.in, submitting cohort applications, joining our partner directory, or participating in any educational track offered by Nebula Startup School ("Nebula", "we", "our"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service.
If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from using our digital assets and submitting applications to our programs.
2. Programs & Offerings
Nebula offers structured startup education, venture building, and ecosystem connectivity:
Nebula 1.0 Pre-Seed Accelerator
An 8-week structured cohort curriculum covering validation, customer discovery, prototyping, and pre-seed fundraising preparation.
Venture Studio & Co-Founder Engagements
Hands-on venture co-building alongside selected founders, providing dedicated product engineering, growth architecture, and fundraising advisory.
Ecosystem Partner Bench
A curated network of service providers, law firms, design agencies, cloud infrastructure credits, and community partners supporting cohort companies.
3. Cohort Applications & Selection
- Accuracy of Information: Applicants warrant that all team biographies, traction numbers, and product representations submitted are true and verifiable.
- Non-Confidential Submissions: Because we review hundreds of startup ideas across similar domains, open form submissions and pitch deck links are deemed non-confidential. Please do not submit proprietary trade secrets or patent filings on initial forms before formal intake discussions.
- Discretionary Selection: Admission into cohorts, interview rounds, and funding programs is at the sole discretion of the Nebula admissions committee. Submission does not guarantee an interview or cohort placement.
4. Commercial Model & Fees
Our commercial structure is designed to align incentives with founder success:
Nebula 1.0: Tuition-free cohort participation for selected student and early-stage founders.
Venture Studio: Scoped on an outcome-aligned basis (equity participation and milestone success fees). Terms are executed via separate definitive agreements signed prior to project kickoff.
No Retainers: We do not charge high monthly advisory retainers without outcomes; our upside is tied to long-term startup value creation.
5. Intellectual Property
Founder IP:You retain 100% ownership of your startup's source code, trademarks, product architecture, and proprietary business secrets. Participating in Nebula does not grant us ownership of your pre-existing IP.
Nebula IP: All educational curriculum, workshop frameworks, brand marks, website designs, audio-visual materials, and articles are the exclusive property of Nebula Startup School and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
6. Partner & Enabler Network
Nebula facilitates introductions and deals between startups and third-party enablers (e.g., cloud credits, software discounts, incorporation lawyers).
While we vet partners rigorously, agreements entered into with third-party enablers are strictly between your startup and the respective partner. Nebula is not liable for services or warranties provided by third-party enablers.
7. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
Educational Disclaimer: Mentorship, guides, and curriculum are provided for educational and strategic insight only. They do not constitute certified legal, tax, or financial investment advice. Founders should consult qualified professionals for statutory filings.
No Funding Guarantee: Building a venture involves inherent market risk. While Nebula prepares founders to raise institutional capital, we do not guarantee funding, valuation minimums, or commercial traction.
Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Nebula Startup School and its directors, mentors, and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from platform use or program participation.
8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms or participation in Nebula programs shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Tamil Nadu, India.
